Designed for dedicated dancers ready to pursue ballet at a higher level,
the Pre-Professional Program combines rigorous classical training,
individualized coaching, and artistic development within a thoughtful
conservatory environment.
Every dancer's journey is different. Our role is not to rush the process,
but to guide each student with knowledge, intention, and care as they
develop the technique, confidence, resilience, and professionalism
expected of young artists.

Students receive comprehensive instruction grounded in the American Ballet Theatre® National Training Curriculum while expanding their technique, artistry, strength, musicality, and performance quality. Every part of the program is designed to prepare dancers thoughtfully for increasingly advanced work.
Technique & Pointe
Classical ballet, pre-pointe, pointe, men's technique, variations, repertoire, and pas de deux develop strength, clarity, and technical confidence.
Movement & Performance
Contemporary, character work, musicality, performance coaching, and repertoire help dancers develop versatility, expression, and a distinctive artistic voice.
Strength & Longevity
Conditioning, flexibility, body awareness, and injury-prevention practices support healthy development and sustainable training.
Performance as Education
Productions, rehearsals, workshops, and master classes teach responsibility, adaptability, confidence, collaboration, and professionalism beyond the studio.

Students should demonstrate consistent attendance, strong work ethic, technical readiness, artistic curiosity, respect for their peers and faculty, and a willingness to embrace correction and continual growth.
Audition or Faculty Invitation
Placement is determined individually based on the dancer's technical development, maturity, commitment, artistic potential, and readiness for the expectations of advanced conservatory training.
