The Lower School

Because childhood deserves to be filled with beauty

Mommy and Me

Age 2

Our Mommy & Me class is a joyful introduction to movement, music, and imagination, where little ones explore the world one step at a time beside someone they trust most. Through songs, creative play, and gentle guidance, children develop coordination, confidence, and a lifelong love for learning while creating memories that become part of their childhood forever.

The first dance is not performed on a stage, but in the loving embrace of a parent.

Pre-Ballet

Age 3

Pre Ballet nurtures imagination while gently introducing the foundations of classical ballet. Through storytelling, music, and creative movement, children develop coordination, musicality, balance, and classroom confidence in a warm and encouraging environment where every accomplishment is celebrated and every child is inspired to shine.

Every great dancer begins with wonder.

Pre Primary

Age 4 & 5

Pre-Primary marks the beginning of structured ballet training as children are introduced to classical technique, musicality, and ballet vocabulary through the American Ballet Theatre® National Training Curriculum. In an atmosphere of encouragement and artistry, students build the discipline, confidence, and technical foundation that prepares them for a lifetime of growth in dance and beyond.

The first steps toward excellence begin with a strong foundation.

Primary A

Age 5 - 6

Following the American Ballet Theatre® National Training Curriculum, dancers build the essential foundations of posture, alignment, musicality, coordination, and proper ballet vocabulary.

Every plié, tendu, and port de bras is introduced with purpose, nurturing confidence while laying the groundwork for beautiful, healthy technique. In this inspiring environment, children discover that excellence begins with strong fundamentals and a genuine love for learning.

Primary B

Ages 6 - 7

As confidence grows, so does the dancer’s understanding of classical movement. Primary B develops greater coordination, balance, strength, and artistry while introducing more complex movement patterns and musical expression. Students begin connecting individual steps into flowing combinations, learning that beautiful dancing comes not only from correct technique, but from intention, discipline, and joy. This level continues to build the strong technical foundation that supports every stage of future training, in keeping with the American Ballet Theatre® National Training Curriculum.

Primary C

Ages 7 - 8

Primary C marks an exciting stage of growth as dancers begin to move with increasing precision, confidence, and artistry. Students refine coordination, expand their ballet vocabulary, and develop greater strength, balance, and musical awareness while learning to connect technique with expressive performance. Through thoughtful progression, each class prepares dancers for the demands of the next level, reinforcing the belief that lasting excellence is built one step at a time.
